Challenge Overview

Description du challenge

Today, given the high demand and limited availability of skilled instructors for shooting training, it's challenging to assign one teacher per trainee. This often means that the full potential of each participant remains untapped. To address this, we are focused on improving individual training outcomes by introducing a self-guided modular learning environment, thereby optimizing the workload of valuable instructors for enhanced efficiency.

Wanted

- Development and implementation of self-guided learning environments
- Design and delivery of customized multimodal feedback systems
- Evaluation and assessment of skill levels in training contexts
- Integration of sensor data for personalized training experiences
- Data storage and analysis for instructor feedback and automated assistant systems
- Analysis of shooting accuracy and decision-making processes

Projects you could be working on

- Develop and refine data collection methodologies for capturing and analyzing detailed information on shooting accuracy, decision-making processes, and reaction times in training contexts (such as Text overlay, Videos, audios instructions, image icons, media overlay…)

- Establish a robust data storage and analysis system to support instructor feedback and the development of the automated Virtual Tutor assistant system. Integrate sensors into simulation input devices to capture data related to weapon functionality, such as cant angle, butt pressure, trigger control, visor settings, magazine status, safety lever status, aim point tracking, and more.
