AI x Air Defense System

Defending airspace is becoming increasingly difficult due to various factors such as traffic congestion, contested electromagnetic spectrum, increased tempo of operations, and the technological evolution of threats. The need for more collaborative and sophisticated defenses across multiple platforms and units is crucial. The problem to tackle is the reduction in decision thinking time and the complexity of decisions in this dynamic environment. In the short-term, advanced algorithms are needed to augment human decision-making and enable higher levels of autonomy at the tactical edge. In the longer term, continuous introduction of increasingly sophisticated algorithms utilizing enhanced situation awareness and intelligence information will be essential. We are looking for a human-AI teaming approach for critical command and control functions, to allow faster, better decisions bringing decision superiority for operational advantage.
